It obviously looks like their putting this kid on the fast track to a championship. Who many more fights do you guys think he'll have before he fights for a belt Ioka fought for a belt in his 7th fight I think. I can understand doing this with a fighter that turned pro late, but Ioka is only 22 or 23. I guess in Japan is quality over quantity.
Anyways I would be interested in your thoughts about this.

Never heard of him. Just looked him up on boxrec & he's only 20 so plenty of time.

I guess it was kind of a ****** thread to make. Inoue only has 3 fights and I suppose most people haven't heard or seen him fight.

I highly recommend that anyone look him up. His first two fights ended with sickening one punch ko's and against solid opponents. I have a copy of his 3rd fight but haven't watched it yet. His pro debut ended with one of the best body shots I've ever seen against a guy who had never been stopped.

Keep a eye for Inoue, I have a feeling he will be champion soon. The real question is at what weight will he win his first belt. 108 or 112?

The thread wasn't ****** (as I've now heard about an up & coming prospect).

Maybe the headline was a bit misleading but Rupert Murdoch will be knocking on your door soon enough.

Boxrec has him ranked 36th in the world and 9th in Japan. Not bad after only 3 fights.

I've been one of the "westerners" following Inoue since he turned professional. His trainer at first said they were going to try and tie Muangsurin's record (3rd fight) but then pulled the reigns back a little bit.

Having beaten Yuki Sano last time out ONE HANDED (he damaged his right hand in like the 3rd round) the guy could probably fight for a world title next time out against a well selected champion (Alberto Rossel, the WBA interim champion at 108 for example). Odds are he will look for either a national or regional (OPBF) title next time out, then go for a world title in fight #5 or #6 to beat Ioka's national record.

If you've not yet had the chance to see him I advise you do. He has EVERYTHING a fighter needs in his arsenal. Speed, shot selection, power, a boxing mind, one of the most impressive lead hands I've seen (both his jab and lightning quick hook are fantastic), he works the body well.

I know boxingprospects.info and boxing.com are both high on the guy and so am I.

Damn I didn't know he hurt his hand. Lets hope he doesn't have persistent hand problem in the future. He's an amazing talent and I'm interested to see how he does against Ioka, Gonzalez, Yagashi and Estrada assuming that their fighting at 112 in he next year or two. Thanks for sharing and it's god to know there's others with an eye on this kid. He may be the future of he flyweight division.

Just checked this guy out, thanks for the update! He definitely looks a good prospect with great power. It's sad how divisions below fw barely get a mention over here (the UK). I'd like to see more of him and there really is no rush in getting him up to a world title shot. The kids in his early 20s, let him get in there with tough guys that will take him to dark places and see what he's made of.

Just checked the kid is 5'4'', he could easily make it into the bantam/superbantam divisions and fight the bigger "names" there. Obviously that is a few years down the line.
