  • Carl Frampton Vs Kiko Martinez

This fight is happening on the weekend.

    Whos everyone got?

I think Framptons sharpness and skills should beat Martinez to a UD... Hopefully will see Framptons chin tested though. Martinez can punch a bit so if Framptons chin is poor we could find out this weekend.

Im pretty high on Frampton right now so hopefully he can come away with the W.

Likewise I'm backing Frampton, I think he's pretty special. We should learn a lot on Saturday, easily his hardest test so far. Looking forward to it.

The closer the fight gets the better i think frampton is gonna do. I reckon he gets a comfortable UD, and i too hope he gets his chin tested and passes with flying colours

        Exactly the same from me.

Can't wait for the fight. Hope Kiko lands something big to see how Frampton deals with it.

I expect him to be impressive.

I like Frampton & think he is a good prospect. Before I didn't think too much of him but as hes stepped up in classed he has looked impressive. I think he could well be a fighter who fights down to the level of his opposition rather than him being inexperienced at the time.

I definitely think hes going to get his chin tested at some point at the weekend. Its a hard fight too call.

Whilst I Kiko has more experience and I'd say a slight edge in power I feel Frampton is maybe the more multi-dimensional of the two. With Kiko you know what you're going to get.

Its a toss up for me but I feel Kiko pulls off another shocker in Ireland and derails Frampton.

I don't understand why people read into Molitor and that has no doubt helped to create Frampton's image but I don't think he's anything special tbh. A solid fighter no doubt who'll challenge at the highest level.

I don't reckon too much of Martinez either, he'll provide Frampton with a test but the Irishman will be content to box on the outside and not risk too much. I can see Frampton on points after possibly a few scares, he's definitely got the ability to outbox Martinez.

I don't understand why people are so high on him?

I think so far he has shown all the things i look for in a prospect. He has good balance, footwork, handspeed and he looks calm in the ring. Obviously there is still a way to go in terms of proving himself so i can understand reservations (i certainly dont think he can beat Donaire, Rigo or Mares atm, maybe ever).

If he comes through this a fight with Quigg would be brilliant to clean up a lively domestic scene.

Molitor may have been passed his best days. But he was still a Top 10 ranked fighter in one of the best divisions in Boxing.

And the way he beat him, was very impressive.

Actually no, and i cant find any footage on youtube.

But, if he did have an off night (which judging by the cuts and sc****s on his face in post fight interview he may well have) it is all a part of the learning process. Since then hes shown enough for people to get high on him imo
