I had Khan up by 1 point. But I think the point deductions were BS so I guess I had Khan up by 3. But Khan's knockdown was dubious so if you disregard that I think Khan won by 2 points.

Close but clear win for Khan.

An "even" round seems to have become a common place occurence today! Theres alot to look for in 3 minutes and in my opinion its very difficult to award an "even" round. I don't think people are looking for all the elements there are to win a boxing round most times there is shared knock downs in even rounds rarely do two fighters ingage each other equally it just doesn't happen easily. Theres always a winner in a round if you include all the determinating factors involved with winning. Ray.

The results are quite interesting. At this point 30 votes to Peterson 20 to Khan and 8 a draw. It would seem that the actual result was a reflection of what the Boxingscene voters think.

When people actually score the fight, more people think khan won the fight. Check the link below.

he won it on the cards
            and
he won it in my eyes, not by a lot but he did enough, plus those point deductions were more than justified as khan was trying to make an awful fight of it.

Khan won but a hometown ref meant he didnt get the decision,if the ref had been fair and not deducted points then Khan would have won, thats a fact-both guys were bending the rules,Cooper was on Petersons side

At the end of the day its Khans fault for fighting a ****** fight and allowing it to be close enough to have this happen, plus being a warrior and going to his opponewnts backyard and putting his own belts on the line seriously backfired.Atleast he has finally got the rematch,i knew Peterson wouldnt come to the UK

i wasn't scoring it but i thought khan won by like two rounds (w/o acknowledging the point deductions). so yeah, the point deductions deff made a difference, but imho i felt khan outdid peterson for the decision. that said, he better come with it in this rematch, he's going to have to win more rounds clearly to try and get a decision a second time.

My issue was not the cards but the points deductions. Yes Khan was using the arm, but it was not even a forearm but almost a push off with the palm of the gloves for leverage to create room.Obviously to stop LP burrying his head into his chest. Never points off and the one in the last round was suspect as feck. The ref warned LP for something just before it (almost like he was trying to even it up, not seem overly bias) then ripped that final point from Khan next time his arm came out.... mmmmm makes you wonder. Why can't we have entirely open score cards in pro fights?

I didn't have a big problem with the deductions. He was warned several times. You could argue it was a bit harsh but some are acting as if he was penalised despite not commiting any fouls and that isn't the case.

As for open scoring, 99% of boxing fans seem to be against it.
