I kind of feel like Margiano does on this one... Rank wise as well.

Byrd, Mercer, Haye and Povetkin. Peter if you want to toss him into the mix, but considering Toney gave him the what-for 2x, I'm not sure that was a great win. Peter was KO'd 6x in < 50 fights.

Byrd was a middleweight in the amateurs who moved up to HW as a pro, small HW who couldn't overcome Wlad's size and power. Haye was more of CW, and again, overcome by sheer size and power. Povetkin had a few good scalps on his resume but didn't show up to fight. He also could not overcome Wlad's size in that fight. Mercer was already 40+ years old.

Wlad never had a signature win that stood out. I can't ignore his size/weight advantage in an era of HW's that were less than spectacular.

Haye in my book, then Povetkin, I also rate Byrd. Quite possibly the most skilled guys he's beaten, if not the biggest when it comes to size.

I don’t think much of Lewis myself which is because his big wins are vastly overrated because of the names. People forget the context for those wins. Furthermore Lewis was way to dirty for my liking. That holding and hitting strategy made me sick.

Whatever. Lewis and Wlad are to me both ranked around #10.
Lennox's holding and hitting made you sick?

But not Klitschko's jab jab grab?
