    - -SuperJoe neuter U into singin' soprano is it?

Joe incredible streak of Ring rankings until he came to America and conquered, nay humiliated the pretenders.

Then retired as King of all he surveyed.

By not agreeing to fight Jones sooner, that's how. Seems pretty obvious. That's how you duck anyone really. Calzaghe wanted to stay unbeaten and facing a prime Jones wouldn't have allowed him to do so.

Ok but what weight would it be at? Was Joe supposed to come up to 175 or would Roy go back down to 168?

Michalczewski should have come over here to fight Roy Jones.

Roy was the A-side and the fight would have made the most money here.

Instead DM stayed hiding in Europe and made a good living off the WBO belt.

Go up to 175 or meet at an agreed upon catchweight, like 170.

DM was the champ so clearly Jones should have travelled.

To maximize revenues for everyone the fight needed to be in the US on HBO or PPV.

The fact that DM avoided that like the plague is a clear duck.

                  - -Dude, U just off out the turnip truck?

Darius came stateside to a Roy fight and Roy and HBO didn't want to know him. He the A side and Roy could've doubled his $5mil salary going to Germany.

Jones was offered big money for a fight in Germany. He flat out turned it down. He didn’t want to travel.

Dm was champ. If jones wanted the title, he’d have to travel. He didn’t. He preferred his lame mandos.

I heard that was because Jones felt he'd always get screwed in the scorecards outside the US because of his fight in the 1988 Olympics? If that's true, don't they usually get one German judge, one American and one from a different country in fights like that?

And isn't this also why Jones isn't as highly ranked as other light heavies and fighters from the 90s, because of lack of resume once he moved up after the Toney fight? Or at least for not fighting Darius but still dubiously being awarded the Ring belt at light heavy anyway? Did people at The Ring want the title back in the states or was it because Roy was undisputed?
