If we are going off sanctioning body rankings then there’s probably a plethora of examples.

Pretty sure TS is talking about beating the #1 in the division one after the other.

    Cotto wasn’t #1 at 147.
Which ranking system are you going with for #1 at WW? There are four sanctioning bodies, Ring Mag title, ESPN, BOXREC???

I’m going off The Ring Magazine rankings.

Certainly not the sanctioning bodies rankings obviously.

They have their own title. You guys need to make up your mind about whether or not Ring is still a valid ranking organization. Seems to ebb and flow. For years now I've been watching a certain fanbase slam Ring Mag.

None of this matters, Manny became #1 at WW when he beat Cotto. That was the question posed in this thread.

It does matter because Cotto wasn’t #1.

That’s the question that’s being asked. Not becoming #1, beating #1.

What was the OP's question? Who became #1 in back to back divisions? Not, who beat the #1 guy in each division. Pacquiao became #1 WW after his win over Cotto. All of your Pac-hate won't change that.

Pac hate You clowns are so sensitive. I’m a fan of
                  Pacquaio you idiot.

OP is talking about fighters beating the #1 guy, Cotto wasn’t the #1 guy.

That is not what he asked.

“IF Teofimo were to win would he be the first to become the #1 guy in back to back divisions in back to back fights or has someone or someone's done this before?”

Reading comprehension Danny. He asked if Teo would be the first to become #1 in back to back fights in two weight classes. You can do that without beating the #1 ranked fighter. PAC did just that. After his wins over Hatton and Cotto, Pacquion was #1 at 140 and 147.

                      TS can clarify.
