Yup. Totally. I am fully on board with that. If you want to post here, you should know something as fundamental as that.

The very reason I am calling you out is because you don't know. You have no idea. You don't watch Boxing. You've never been in a ring. You only parrot what others have written. Boxing to you is like the world of comics.

Lucky for you, I happy to educate you, and will tolerate your mental imbalance.

Hahahahaha! No Pajama Boy is on about Muay Thai.

Dude you do NOT want to mess with Muay Thai. don't go anywhere near that. Back in the 70's Pajama Boys got cute and tried fight Thai Boxers. They got SPANKED!

Muay Thai is real fighting. It's not paying for belts. It's not robot dancing. It's not breaking pine boards. It's not screaming really loud. It's legit.

Thai Boxers, incidentally, have adopted a lot of British Boxing's techniques. They also have cross-pollinated from Greco-roman Wrestling. Modern Kickboxing is different than actual Muay Thai. It definitely utilizes Boxing techniques, like cutting off the ring.

I reccomend you watch some Muay Thai fights. But I know you won't. You'll just find more ways to use your time being creepy.

    Yeah.... I'd say that.

    If I were ******ed.

Anyone who's actually seen early Boxing matches (they're available on YouTube) recognizes cutting off the ring very much was a part of early Boxing. It'll be lost on you, but the way they fight is quite different from modern boxing. Some of that is owed to lack of refinement - modern techniques hadn't been honed yet. But it's also due to different rules and equipment, and expectations of fighters.

Boxing is an attenuated sport that grew out of no rules fighting. Wrestling, kicking, elbows, head butting... these were quickly culled from Boxing when it became codified, but actually adapting a form of fighting ideal for the exclusive use of hands required Boxers first acclimating to their new environment.

But fundamental to all fighting, however raw or refined, is trying to secure an opponent who doesn't want to be cornered.

Seriously dude, why do you discuss Boxing/Fighting if you have absolutely no desire to actually watch it, or train? That just seems like a tremendous waste of time to me. Like what's the point? You pull stuff out of your ass to look goofy. You make posts with references to articles from the latest edition of Reader's Digest to wind up on a table at your Shrink's office. It gets you attention, I understand. Is this your way of dealing with your daddy issues? Wouldn't you rather have meaningful, accurate, on topic discussions about Boxing?

      Actually, Martin KO'd Quarry, right?

Tell us about that one! Was it as brutal as Basillio's KO of Fullmer? Or Garcia's trouncing of Conn?
Your losing it...becoming unhinged... Just take it easy. Your doing a classic Queenie and responding to internal dialogue...Im not in your head I am out here.

The day you are educating me will be a new one... you obviously do not know what you are talking about and I do not have time to teach you... besides you seem to becoming unhinged these last posts...

You do not understand what it is to cut the ring down and where it figures into boxing and that is obvious.

says the guy cnfined to a straight jacket most hours of the day.

Why can we get any further information of the Garcia-Conn and Basillio-Fullmer fights which you are privy too?

OK, you like to leave us hanging. At least explain how Leotis Martin was better than Quarry.

OFF.... you actually mean to say "cut the ring OFF". That's the term used for a fighter applying offense to effectively engage with an opponent fighting defensively.

If you can't resolve your daddy issues, OK. But at least use proper Boxing terminology.

A great jab . Constant pressure , hammer in both hands and he was giant over most heavyweights....Liston never looked dynamic or gifted but he had a deceptive style and would hurt you with every punch

Uh.... clearly you're thinking of someone other than the guy we're all talking about. We mean the 60's champion that dethroned Patterson and lost to Ali.

You do know there is a post where you mentioned the ridiculous Garcia Con basillo fullmer thing and I mocked it... If I have to pull it up will you become more unhinged? Don't want you to kick the dog now... Or take your liquor neat in a giant glass.... lol.

There is no official terminology you idiot lol. And NO that is not specifically what it means to cut the ring down you moron.

Cutting the ring down is specifically approaching at angles so that one is at a bias to the opponent, as opposed to simply "chasing" the fighter offensively to engage.

YOU are unreal... You didn't know this? REALLY?! Your debasing, arguing ridiculousness and didn't even know what cutting the ring down as a technique is!!!!

You got me baby! I didn't think you were really THAT daft... You really do not know what this is, do you realize this? Come on!! now your under my skin... DO SOME RESEARCH!!! If I had known you had no idea I would not have wasted my time.

Here idiot thank me later with the latest insult.
