Just the ones I've spoken to that sent a group message to their colleagues at the IBRO. None had ever heard of film of that exhibition let alone seen it. Seems funny NO ONE but you would ever mention it either, doesn't it? Something like that would be monumental in the boxing world. But no one but you has ever apparently seen it. This film and other like it are proof that Johnson is an all time heavyweight clincher of the Short and old men. Prove me wrong if you can! Yet is disappears like Houdini on film vs. Willard and Moran who were two young and certainly normal sized heavyweights over 200 pounds. In fact Johnson clinching did do him any good vs the 162.5 pound skilled O'Brien or Journey man Battling Jim Johnson, who was bigger than he was. Hmm...

The Sports editor of the Philadelphia Inquirer in May 23 issue wrote: "A half dozen writers, for instance, gave Johnson the credit of having won the bout, but no two of them agreed as to the distance by which he won, and if you read all these accounts you must have come to the conclusion that he won at any distance from a whisker to a city block. And it was the same with the able gentlemen who espoused the O'Brien cause.
