Leonard had shown great mastery fighting southpaws especially with fast hard straight rights and follow up hooks. Hagler and his camp knew Ray was training for this vigorously. THEY felt by fighting in a conventional stance Hagler would derail his opponents fight plan. So it was a logical plan going in. Just did not appear to work out that way.

It is well understood that all the expressionist painters could paint portraits and landscapes, classic art work, just as well as those known for this genre. However they chose to go down a different, new, path.

No because neither one is an all time great yet. Lomachenko is supremely talented but he hasn't done enough to be an all time great. A win by Lomachenko(which I expect) pushes him closer to that. He's much closer to it than Lopez.

It also wasn't uncommon for Hagler to pursue a less than ideal gameplan.

But at the end of the day, Hagler's age and lengthy career had caught up with him.

I credit Leonard very much for that win and don't consider it to have been particularly close.

Still, that's his most meaningful win above 147, and pales in comparison to the achievements of others considered here.

Trolls eventually will out themselves! Elroy's screw up was monumental. He called Ray Corso out. Bad move lol. You exposed yourself... Under constant pressure, crying about being stalked, etc, "the ring was cut off" so to speak and you did what every troll eventually does...

He all but won a title in only his 2nd pro-fight (under normal circumstances Salido would've been DQ'd).

He has won titles in three weight classes, jumping from Fw to Lw, no less, in about a dozen fights.

Look how he dismantled Rigo. Name another performance like that. Ever.

Seems like you need to learn more about Boxing.

If you knew about boxing you would understand the circumstances surrounding the Rigondeaux fight. But you're a master at using names without details and rewriting history. If winning belts in different weight classes is your criteria for being an all time great then Adrien Broner is an all time great by your standards. That's all that needs to be said about that.

I don't use the term all time great loosely. That's an elite status reserved for fighters that put in well over a decade of work to get there.

“ATG” is reserved for those fighters that have shown during their career ATG attributes. Loma has not done so. ATG status is bestowed once a fighter has retired or near careers end.

Early Picasso exquisitely painted a young girl in a white dress.
