Don't be fooled. Trombone lives out of a wine bottle and has never been a teacher in his life. He has obviously fantasized a lot about it, though. I don't know what he taught, or tried to. He must have done a little tutoring in college and now calls himself a teacher between belches. I knew a fellow like him once that carried around a fake resume just to flash at strangers who might doubt his abilities.

I find it difficult to envision a teacher so unread on a subject they spend so much time posting about.

My daughter is a teacher. She graduated college, initially was hired as a fill in but is now after one year tenure track with a salary of $52,000.

Very few companies offer a pension. It’s an enormous perk.
Its a great thing to do...You should be very proud of your daughter, sorry if that sounds silly lol. I have taught High school and Community College and I loved it. My experience was great with students...even teaching in a very bad area in San Francisco, the administration was always more of a problem.

Community college was great. I had very motivated students, did not have to worry about publishing so I could devote full time to the students. I like to think I prepared a few lawyers in Louisiana State University with our ethics class lol. Maybe a few doctors as well!

Is something wrong, dude? Are you just lonely?
The way I sound as a blowhard? Thats the way you sound and I wanted to give you a taste. Now you know how you come across. You are hardly qualified to say something negative about an opinion I have about another poster's post... Stick to your lane.

I actually am probably your biggest supporter here, keep that in mind. I actually think you come up with some great insights, but damn if every post I make, I have to explain to you basic information that can be gleaned. Everyone has to master the basics first...I still would get my azz handed to me by many posters here who are well read and just polite enough not to do so. So believe me...If someone like Hassup politely were to hint I should take a look at something? I would listen.

Rusty wants facts and all he offers is speculation! One sided relationship!

A so-called teacher who does not know the difference between commiserate and commensurate. Environment--Wine bottle. Brains--still a wild rumor. Halfwittedness--a cinch.
