He always seemed angry and had very poor manners.
I remember he once even called referee Ralph Newman a 'c***sucker' during a live broadcast
Wasn't that the final straw that got Newman to toss him out? I only just watched that fight a month ago for the first time. I think it was Ruiz vs Golota. On account of Ruiz's style, the booting of Stone and his being quarantined to the locker rooms, after telling Don King "This is a fixed fight,Don" while being led away, was one of the more exciting parts of the whole fight. He also went after Jones Jr's trainer Alton Merkarson, but ended up getting the worst of it, at either the weigh in or the glove selection meeting the day before the John Ruiz vs Roy Jones Jr fight. Oh, and in answer to your question, the guy was a total toolbox, but it was nice laughing at him
Stoney was always making sure jawny had fair treatment. He made me laugh in the golota fight. I think lampley even said in the rjj fight "Norman just called his fighter Roy" lol. I give Ruiz props in the holyfield fights for his sheer toughness.
Norman Stone was a complete joke.
First of all he’s very lucky that Former Heavyweight contender RANDY Neumann didn’t put a absolute ass kicking on that big mouth punk from Massachusetts.
