LMAO. Where do these casuals come from?

Show me a Heavyweight with Dempsey's punching prowess, head movement, and mobility.

Show me a Heavyweight with Tunney's footwork, defense, control of distance and speed.

    Show me!
And these aren't fighters who were coddled through the amateurs, got marquee trainers, had months between camps.

Holyfield would look like every other no-name goon of the era. He wasn't very smart and he wasn't very inventive. Every guy who looked like him succeeded either by having a MASSIVE punch (Holyfield was feather-fisted), or they clinched up smaller men (without HGH, modern diet and conditioning, and steroids he's no bigger than Dempsey).

      - -This place like Romper Room, terribly infantile and untutored but funny as f!

Given U tykes all the time in the world to come up with The Correct Answer, no drumroll needed, just a proper bow and sc**** to Sam Langford.

Those losses were to terrible fighters.

Are we counting losses that occurred outside the division?

Are we even considering Sam a Heavyweight.

And finally... what part about "champion" are you struggling with?

To be fair, in sooo many ways he's better than most Heavyweights. At least P4P.

          - -Sam held the spit title when the French stripped JJ, after which Sam painted a masterpiece on Jeannette for the title.

Also held the colored title which had more prestige than the IBF.

It's Boxing. Not Duck Duck Goose... it's not like you say "title" enough times that you get to say "championship".

                - -Field had been stripped of his license, so the only thing left was for him to be passed around for the pleasure of King and the Russians for peanuts.

                What grade U in?

                  It's Holyfield.

-WBA, WBC, IBF, lineal champion with three successful defenses (lost on the fourth to Bowe)
-WBA, IBF, lineal champion (lost on the first defense to Moorer)
-WBA, IBF champion with four successful defenses (lost on the fifth to Lewis)
-WBA champion (lost on the first defense to Ruiz)

                  Also challenged:
-Lennox Lewis for WBC/lineal twice in unifications, drew once and lost once
                  -John Ruiz for WBA, drew
                  -Chris Byrd for vacant IBF
                  -Sultan Ibragimov for WBO
                  -Nikolai Valuev for WBA

                  Wins over other heavyweight champions:
                  -Buster Douglas
                  -George Foreman
                  -Larry Holmes
                  -Rid**** Bowe
-Ray Mercer (if you count his WBO reign, that is)
                  -Mike Tyson (twice)
                  -Michael Moorer
                  -Hasim Rahman
-Frans Botha (if you count his vacated IBF reign)

And, again, the draws with Lewis and Ruiz.

And that's all ignoring his sparkling cruiser resume.
