Best Heavyweight Champion with double digit losses?

Who do you guys think was the best Heavyweight Champion that had atleast 10+ Losses on their record? I was watching a Jersey Joe Walcott highlight video and it triggered me to ask this question. He probably has the worst record of all the Heavyweight Champions but Good Lawd he was INCREDIBLY talented. Greatest heavyweight champion with double digit losses though? I don’t know. That’s why I’m asking lol!

That’s why records are so misleading now. Back then you had to fight everyone just to get a title shot. There was one belt.

And jersey joe was fantastic. But boxrec warriors call him a bum because he has L’s

        Schmeling (10)
        Sharkey (13)
        Carnera (14)
        Baer (13)
        Braddock (24)

It seems the 1930s was created for this argument.

From this list I would say Schmeling.

Holyfield. One of the few heavyweights of the contemporary era that fought everyone multiple times, and of course racked up losses just like the rest in doing so.

Jersey Joe Walcott was the first guy to come to mind. Absolutely brilliant skills and probably the best footwork for a heavyweight up to that point....

Evander Holyfield in some of his loses proved to the boxing arena how great he was 'Against Bowe & Lewis etc'

Who would of fought after the first Lewis fight, Holyfield could adapt and change his game plan 'To really push Lewis, the jabs to the chest and just overall better offense'

There was a moment in the second Lewis fight where Larry Merchant was taken back by what Holyfield was doing etc

'Holyfield for me was the complete boxer'

48 minute 25 second mark and onwards.
