    Biggest superfights in history?.

What was the biggest super fight in history ?

Fight must be judged on wow factor , world attention , historial impact and legendary status of both fighters before and after loss.
I will not just accept ppv numbers or purses because ppv was not available to every home like it is today.
Place in order what fight you think hits top spot

1 Ali vs foreman in Zaire ?
    2 Frazier vs Ali 1 ?
    3 Leonard vs hearns 1 ?
    4 hagler vs Leonard ?
    5 mayweather vs Pacquiao ?

We probably have to go back further to include the Dempsey's, Louis, Marciano's etc. But I must wonder how big these fights were outside of North America at the time. I have no doubt every yank watched or rather listened to those fights on the radio. But if I can't prove that they were huge in the rest of the world, as of now I can only include Louis vs Schmeling 2 in that list.

To the ones you mentioned I would add Leonard vs Duran I.

As far as world attention goes, in my lifetime nothing compares to Ali vs Frazier 1.

I go with this too. I mean it WAS called The Fight of The Century. Ali-Frazier 3-The Thrilla in Manila was pretty damn good too.

I wAs a little to young to remember this fully , my personal opinion was hagler vs Leonard as it was a fight we was denied when Leonard suffered a retina injury , one day I came home from work and in the English news Leonard announced he was coming back....the fight then took over the world as they were finally going to meet...89 country’s around the world watched this fight and at the time was the highest grossing fight in history...it broke all records

Also, when we were waiting for Hagler vs Hearns it really felt pretty grand... And it did deliver.
