    - -Usyk was what was called a big heavy in the Ali era.

He was nowhere near the LH Field was turning pro.

Do you guys actually watch boxing?

Holyfield would have been considered a big heavyweight in Ali era as well. Doesn’t matter where you started. Chris Byrd started out as a middleweight. He defeated some rather large heavyweights himself. Try to keep up with the big boys when it’s your turn to speak. Stop embarrassing yourself.

        - -Field needed a bodybuilder known for steroid use to move up to heavy.

Ali was 19 in his pro debut close to the original cruiser 190 lb limit, and soon over 200 lb as he filled out.

        Do study up!

qawi was his toughest fight at 175, and at 175 qawi was a beast. Holyfield fought great competition at heavyweight, but he also lost to them as well. Even his fight with Holmes, if watched with an educated eye, is a bit suspect.

in fact most of Holyfields fame came from his mentality, he a had a lot fo tough fights at heavyweight that he won on determination and conditioning. Michael Moore (which he lost), Bert Cooper, Foreman....then close fights with Bowe, Holmes and Lewis (he was past prime by then). It's the Tyson wins that really propel Holyfields fame, but in truth I think any above average heavyweight would have edged Tyson at that point in his career. too much ******* his heart was gone.

So while Holyfield has a great oldschool resume, he didn't clean house at heavyweight - he was just really good, especially for a former light heavyweight.
Well, said. He had a Archie Moore quality about himself anf his career.

He started at 175. He seemed to be built well in the neck and head, which sort of allowed him to compete at heavyweight.

His size was completely normal, there's footage of him sparring Andy Ruiz, he appears a bit bigger and taller, obviously weighing less because Ruiz is fat.

This weight topic gets discussed way too much but uninformed noobs, especially about heavyweights. as if this is a body building contest.

We have so much factual evidence that being the heaviest doesnt make you the best, yet its still a huge topic.

Michael Moorer, a light heavyweight, moved up and knocked out a 6 ft 10 fighter, thats right, bigger than Fury. Simple because hes a better fighter.

this mike White dude is 6 ft 10 and 275 lbs, Michael Moorer knocked him silly and Moorer was coming up from light heavy
3 Minute 10 second mark and on-wards 'Michael Moorer knocks out 6 ft 10 Mike White'
