After Mike Tyson lost a final court appeal to keep records of his recent psychiatric examinations private, the Nevada Athletic Commission released the reports on Tuesday, October 13. A team of doctors
"While antidepressant medications can be a useful adjunct in Dysthymic Disorder, they are not always necessary or helpful. When medications are recommended, that recommendation is made based on numerous factors, including the necessity of the medication, the side effects of the medication and effect on the patient’s lifestyle, and the availability of alternative treatments. In Mr. Tyson’s situation, it is our recommendation that his treatment be centered on the management of emotions through psychothe****utic interventions rather than medication. Such treatment is more likely to have persistent benefits in terms of Mr. Tyson’s modification of his behavior over the long term."
That's how it feels trying to remember when you saw a "prime" Bowe. But at least you know those questions, ultimately, have an answer. Some point, some how they'll turn up.
As for Bowe's performance, for almost two decades the entire internet has been dedicate to locating it, and is still lost.

Revisting Baer vs. Schmeling, after reading about Loughran-Baer, I would have to say Baer was very much a wasted talent... in the ring. Outside the ring, it sees he really out-did himself.
Baer was like Bowe. Except that his excuses for failed greatness are much more excusable. And the Schmeling fight shows he could put it together. Bowe - who had waaay more resources invested in him, and a faaar greater dependency on Boxing for making it in life - needed a human punching bag to look (really, really) good.
If they swapped eras, Bowe would've had about 10 pro fights, all losses. baer would have overcome ali in the public's mindset as The Greatest.Comment

- -Baer was busy going Hollywood and bedding actresses.

Thanks for your reply.
I am not going to discuss finding my keyes or his exact time of prime, as the latter is more of an subjective matter. The question is wasted talent, and I see talent in the fighter who beat Holyfield twice, and won an Olympic games silver medal. I think he had quite a few good attributes.
Another HW I think had some unresolved potential is Buster Douglas.Comment

- -Buster a very undervalued heavy in his day due to his prediabetic physiology.
I'd say given his genetic disposition to diabetes, he fulfilled 98.6% of his natural capability.Comment

Baer was gun shy because he killed Dolph Camillo's brother in the ring and might have been responsible for another death. I actually grok Baer well... Some of us just don't like to fight, but when we are motivated to do so...we go to a different place entirely. I remember for me I was 13 and this 18 year old decided to really do a number on me. To this day I never told my parents about the concussion he gave me, I probably could have died lol.
I was told that they thought he had killed me as my head crashed into the sink...and then I got up, went into an office, grabbed a scissors and stuck it in the 18 year old's chest. i don't remember any of this...I woke up some time later, walking around trying to remember things that happened...
I think Baer when he really got fighting went to a place like that and decided, like many of us would, that he didn't want that. So he learned to use his right once in a while, but not to really throw it as an anvil. I don't blame him.
I think under different circumstances, if he had been raised differently he may have been a bit more dangerous in the ring...as it was he would not cross a certain line, probably one of the reasons he lost to Braddock.Comment

- -Dunno who this ephemeral "he" is, but if it were so easy to "build" muscle steroid use in the nfl and mlb would not have become so pervasive. See the Olympics, NBA, and pro hockey for further reference.Comment
