I don't see another scenario where Mike wins this.
To use a running analogy, I think it's fair to say that Tyson wins a "sprint" (short, explosive firefight) while Marciano wins a "marathon" (extended war of attrition).

I think marciano would back him up and defeat him....marciano was smarter and better taught, came at a time when boxing science was at a zenith....much better inside fighter...

Green K to get you going. Yes an apt analogy it is.

Or, as they used to say in Brooklyn, calling Marciano the tortoise to another guy the Hare...aint no tortoise punch that hard!

Yeah as much as I harp on this I think it is very relevant. When you can put a man on his heels his punch suddenly becomes very tame. We saw Hollyfield do this to tyson, and it came from a trainer who thinks Marciano was the best lol (Don Turner) and who no doubt thought about Marciano when preparing Holly to press onto Mike in the clinch.

it will be an inside fight that Rocky ends up winning later. Rocky fights better inside. Tyson probably drops Rocky early.

I saw Tyson struggle vs short guys and miss a lot.

Everyone is picturing Tysons speed and combinations but truth be told it would probably be an ugly inside fight. Rocky has that 15 round championship mentality and equally as heavy hands.

The only way you can know who wins, is to know who their managers are betting on. Who thought Tyson would get ko'ed to Tokyo!

D'amato might be smart enough to get the three knockdown rule waived.
