He would be TBE and his wins wouldn’t be against wash up fighters with a name or weight drained young fighters

Salvador Sanchez went 4-0 with 4 ko's vs hof fighters and he didn't even grow into his man body yet.. Let that sink in.

The man had cleared out his division at age 23. If he had gone up in weight through the 80s and beaten guys like Arguello and JCC I don't know if anyone could deny he was the GOAT. Unfortunately he didn't so I can't call him the best ever.

Definitely the best Featherweight of all time though! Might be another 50 years before we see a legitimate challenger for that title.

Best featherweight of all time? That would be up for debate.

Willie Pep, Henry Armstrong, and Sandy Saddler were all 126-pound champions.

Nope. His career was not long enough for that. No way can he be rated over Armstrong or Pep either.

What he would've done is have his scheduled rematch with LaPorte then likely retired to become a doctor. Wether he would've stuck to that is another thing, as we know boxers are likely to come back into the sport but Sanchez had his heart set on becoming a doctor and announced the rematch would be his last bout.
Guy had his head screwed on.

                    - -Already has a better title and career record than SRLeonard, and all accomplished by age 23.

Yeah, I know, he let hisself get knocked out by a big chicken toting rig, so, UGH, not a good enough eye candy boy for modern boxing fans.
