Who's the shortest fighter who could beat Nikolai Valuev?

Didn't Ruslan Chagaev beat him and he's only 5'11?? Mike Tyson would rip him apart, and Roy Jones Jr would have had a shot as well

--- You boys been whippin' a softie.
Niko broke all the stereotypes. He was never busted up, dropped, or failed to go the distance even as his gigantism begin to take it's expected toll.
He was also a lot more intelligent and insightful than most modern American champs and never disparaged other fighters or fans.
In short, he was too honorable for modern boxing and retired to extensive surgery to save his life and now represents his people in political office.

Seemed like a nice guy but he was a poor fighter and slow as molasses. Against real opposition he would be a human punching bag.

--- Ice John Scully saw him early in his career and was wowed, calling him the strongest, fastest, big man he'd ever seen.
With little AMA experience he was fighting internationally in all the top fighters backyard with hometown officiating , usually winning by KO.
Big George did something like that in 68 Mexico City.
Niko last years were a different fighter as anyone with an eye could discern in style necessitated by officiating against him and the mental strain of being forced out of fights he wanted into fights forced on him by King.
Like Wilt once noted, "nobody likes a giant," unless he's a sappy Barney cartoon for kids. Glad to see he found a safe retirement as one of the few fighters King couldn't ruin as he continues to froth up n'er do well fans.
