Gorillas would have even more champions, wouldn't they? The order is black, brown, white, I believe, by buggery. Blame me for that. I report what I see.

If you as a Black man did your research then you would know that the problem with these gene based traits is that they do not correspond to racial differences. Capiche? Not anger... just righteous indignation.
I never took issue with your list. Your righteous indignation has been aimed at the wrong individual. And how would you know what I would "say" about things? You think you know me or somethin'?
Frankly you are picking a fight on the basis of absolutes when if you had better reading comprehension you might understand the posts made more clearly. I clearly said something very similar to the first statement you made in this post. The thing we disagree about is not that different groups have different ways, traits, etc. What we disagree about is the idea that the mention of Race, somehow jumps over and beyond all these differences into something greater than the differences.
I will reiterate why I disagree with this once again: Genetic differences among human populations DO NOT show a correlation with race. So while it is absolutely true that a Scandinavian individual has a totally different situation, culture, and physical features different than a member of an African group...the fact is that genetically there is a chance that these two groups are more similar that groups that live next to each other with the same skin color and cultural ways...don't believe me LOOK IT UP!
I am not saying that this genetic difference/sameness makes a black tribal member's experience suddenly more similar to a genetic group with similar traits either, that is not the point. The point really is, that there are people like me who believe that while communities all have their own issues, ways, etc, poverty, disease and ignorance are traits that affect any human community without the means to fight against them. And when people think it is race? suddenly we come up with racial stereotypes instead of understanding the root cause of the problem as one afflicting all humanity.Comment

man... you really brought a pen knife to a gun fight dude... This forum has gone through some changes and frankly, unfortunately for you, there are a lot of sharp tacks out there right now...not willing to let someone skate by with half backed ideas.
Im going to try to be constructive here: So you mistook the term used in the post and then came back with a blanket statement that is patiently ridiculous.
Are you familiar with Louisiana? You know, the place where many Africans came into this country? The African American ethnic group in Louisiana to this day is highly specialized in how it recognizes different groups of what you call "Mulatto" and whom many would properly refer to as "Creole." Indeed, the lightness of the skin, the amount of African blood, etc all create many classes of individual historically in Louisiana. Creoles in some ways had more rights than white property owners! in new Orleans, other creoles, were considered native, like the Indians who taught many of them how to survive in the Bayous, and still others were considered African Americans.
Its not so cut and dry...
By mulatto I meant having a black parent and one non-black parent. Andre Ward qualifies for the African American ethnic groupComment

Anyway you are a fool, so be it.

It does not matter what Ward qualifies for (your words). If you do not see how silly it is defining a person of mixed race as Black, white or any race because instead of light skin from a generation ago, they are the product of such a marraige this generation, then no one can help you. The point about the creoles is that different shades of color produced a whole network of relations where they identified in different ways depending.
These are all social processes and not based strictly on absolute whiteness vs blackness...Now I will let you figure out what that says about race...Last edited by billeau2; 09-03-2019, 07:29 PM.Comment

Creoles have varying degrees of different races in them, there is no set number. There are different Creoles.
