I do, ironic but at the time they were two if my favorite fighters when the first bout took place. I do not have a doubt the Pryor did stimulants late in the bout to rejuvenate himself.
Lets forget that ol water bottle and Panama Lewis' reputation for a minute. Late in the fight, Lewis in the corner put a smelling salt bottle up to Pryor's nose and Pryor took a big whiff. Have you ever smelled real smelling salts? You can not take a big whiff like that. Strange that the next round Pryor came out like it was the first round and stopped Arguello. Arguello deserved better and Pryor paid the ultimate price. Too bad!

Yeah it was tainted. However Pryor to me was a better fighter than Arguello at that weight. Pryor was no slouch. He beat Tommy Hearns in the amatures. Don't know if he could have done it again at the pro level but he was an exciting fighter.

Ray would have destroyed Aaron. To many people think that Aaron would have caused damage at welterweight.

My feelings exactly. Tommy would've let him know the difference between amateur and pro real quick.
