He's been fighting 2 times a year now. It'll be around that for the rest of his career.

      I agree about Morales doe.

      Alvarez is a bum.
He gets handed belts for being popular, gets to make up his own weight rules. Is a bully, lacks heart and a duck
      etc...

Ginger is the polar opposite of old school

      Hopkins is a spoiler.
And quits by faking injuries all the time....
Yeah OP seemed to be talking about number of fights, so thats what i was going with

that is true. Probably see an early retirement from him as well.

Be surprised if he didnt make 65 odd fights though

Emanuel Augustus comes to mind. I think he had something in the neighborhood of 80 fights in 15 or 16 years. Granted, he was not a world champion but had he not been robbed blind so many times he would have probably had a title.

Yea, too much money in the sport now to be fighting more than that.

I think its more than the amount of fights do! With that said, and given we have not defined "old school" there have been some very good people mentioned.

Lets take a guy like orlando Salido... I consider him an old school fighter. The guy fights with enough grit and skill that anyone who is lacking will not make it through him, witness what he did to Juan Ma, the first time!

Another guy would be the road warrior Glencoffe Johnson. Again, strong, determined, skilled enough that no passes are given! He took Roy out once and for all really. Just kept coming, thats old school...besides the judges screwed that man and like Salido was a lot better than his record.

Adrien Broner is old school but...not as a fighter, Adrien is old school for the guy who holds the spit bucket and tells everyone how def he was in his day while they ask him to pass the bucket.

I remember in terms of style, Hopkins and Toney were often called throwbacks.
