It doesn't matter how long someone reighned or fought at their best .....When your the best of your era your the best . Would any SANE person question M.Tysons SHORT 80's reighn and take away from that bc his peak was brief ?

Marciano fought who he had to ,unless you have a magic wand and can alter time and make fights to your liking it is what it is !

Yes, but some would argue that Floyd came up with the testing knowing Manny wouldn't agree to it, giving an excuse for the fight not to happen sooner.

Pacquiao would later start asking opponents for stricter drug testing himself so that just makes him a huge hypocrite.

And it puts more of a stain on his legacy that he avoided the Mayweather fight just because of tests that he would end up taking years later anyway.

Yes, but it also hurts Mayweather's legacy. And Manny only agreed to the tests because it was the only way to get the fight and his hugest payday.

Manny should have agreed to the tests and got his hugest payday back in 2009 when both men were closer to prime.

Instead of waiting for Mayweather to get old.

And Mayweather shouldn't have made the condition of that style of testing, knowing that it wouldn't be agreed to. It was put out there as a way to avoid the fight for a longer period of time.

If he thought the guy was cheating why wouldn't he make that condition? If Pacquiao wasn't cheating there was no reason for him not to take that test that he took five years later anyway.

Even Freddy Roach said it was their fault by not taking the test.

                  You naive fool.

That was just Clay making excuses for the vicious beatings he took at the hands of stumblebums.

How was Mayweather supposed to know it wouldn't be agreed to? A clean fighter should have had no problem with stricter testing.

What reason would he have to demand such testing? All the moving up in weight classes? For whatever reason it happened, the fight needed to happen sooner. When you look at a guy's resume, you look at who they beat and when. You don't get the same credit for beating someone at least 5 years after you should have fought them.
