yea Ali was weak puncher but there's got to be somebody weaker like that guy mentioned earlier with no KO's even then i'm sure there was some one who was worse with a negative record

Please go do some research on the above before you blindly believe Wepner could do legitimately what Foreman couldn't. Ali hit reasonably hard when he wanted to, stating that he was the weakest HW puncher ever is pure ignorance. He rarely ever sat on his punches and threw hard. I don't believe Ali was any more powerful following his layoff, he simply lost the ability to move fluidly thus needed to inflict as much damage on his opponents before they got on the inside. Ali's power was average.

The guy danced on his toes, he didn't get enough leverage on his punches. Cleveland Williams had a porcelain chin. Jab him and he'll fall. Ali needed THAT many punches to put his glass jaw down. He had a decent punch after his layoff, but he was slapping guys in the 60s.

I hear you but assumed the thread starter meant known people.There are probably hundreds of weaker punchers than Byrd out there but knowbody knows who the **** they are there for who gives a ****.Lawrence should be slightly know now though since he beat McCline and got KOed by brock so he is a fair pick I suppose.
