Apparently Liston left that cop that he beat up upside down in a trashcan. Also slapped Ali in a casino but nothing else happened. Mitch Blood Green - Tyson is probly one of if not the most well known street fight between boxers

      .
Tony "Two-Ton" Galento -vs- Jackie Gleason | as told to Rocky Marciano

Here's one that cracks me up as related by Jackie Gleason.....What of it he can remember that is, lol.

But Gleason always had that subtle look of flabbergast he could wear in his face when he realized that he'd been played. And it didn't fail to make me laugh in this instance. I know he got that from watching Oliver Hardy.

I remember hearing/reading something a long time ago about how Valero and Ponce De Leon would get drunk and fight or somethin along those lines....

Just now I saw something on youtube that went into a little bit more detail....

Isn't it a big risk fighting on the street, since they're not wearing gloves or wraps and if they get knocked down, they could be hitting the concrete hard, risking injury to their hands or head? All it takes it one well placed shot to seriously injure or kill someone, I've heard.

Well yes, and it's not the punch that kills people it's the fall with the back of the head to the concrete floor.

Yep, unless the punch punctures a lung or stops the heart, then it's the punch that kills them. There was a short lived Fox show called Jonny Zero about a reformed ex-con who once killed someone with one punch and uses his street smarts to go straight and help people by going after criminals.

I remember reading that Tony Ayala jr used to fight in underground bare knuckle fights when he was still an active young fighter

Francisco Bojado is doing it recently.

I think those were not streetfights per say but informal fights for pay.
