If Hagler had anything it was durability. Going to take a hell of a lot to stop him let alone knock him out.

I think Hagler wins all those except Monzon.

The most interesting bout for me wasn't included on there, Hagler vs Tiger.
Your correct Dan, Fullmer was one of if not the strongest middleweight ever. Hagler never fought any fighter in Fullmers league.

    Langford could really wack.
    Monzon was tall, rangy, heavy-handed.
Toney, tough as nails with incredible boxing ability.
Jones Jr. far too skillful for Hagler
Cerdan was an incredible two-fisted fighting machine, pressure fighter.
Greb is rated second only to Robinson.
Hopkins eat southpaws for breakfast, height & reach advantages.

Hagler was a very good fighter, but he never faced fighters of the caliber of these champions.

Take away the Hearns broken hand fight and Hagler has, a razor thin victory over Duran to his name.

Never argue with a fool. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience, then onlookers might not be able to tell the difference

Depends which way you want to look at it Dan. Hagler the super-slow starter, like against Ray Leonard. VS The Brutal punching Gene Fullmer who virtually mudered Benny Paret?.... Fullmer KO5

Hagler vs Sam Langford = not sure about this one..
Hagler vs Marcel Cerdan = Hagler decs.
Hagler vs Gene Fulmer = Hagler Decs.
Hagler vs Roy Jones Jr = Hagler Decs...Jones fought few bouts at 160lbs
Hagler vs James Toney = Hagler by decs. again Toney was much better later
Hagler vs Stanley Ketchel = Hagler by Decs.
Hagler vs Bernard Hopkins = Hagler by decs. he would out work Bernard and again Bernard at 160 was not at his best.
Hagler vs Jake LaMotta = Hagler by decs ..........cautiously!

I see Robinson clearly over him because of over all skills. You need to be muti-dimensional to beat Hagler. Although Hagler was not a one punch KO artists his two handed attack using both stances gave him options most fighters didn't have. He also had an outstanding corner for evaluations and dealing with cuts and abrasions.

All the greats are capable of winning against each other thats why their greats. To not include Hagler is ridiculous to me and his record is a srong one, I knew a lot the fighters on his record and fought against them in opposition corners and that was a very good group.
To look across the ring at Antuofermo or Hamsho guys with limited skills but were animals in the ring you better be ready for an all night fight those two were SERIOUS!

Oh well its all speculation any of them could get cut in the first round and loose via tko in 6 on a cut while their winning, thats boxing!
                Ray
LOL after this post, who are you to talk about boxing LOL

James Toney was better when FAT ? lol
Roy Jones fought 26 fights at middleweight, beating 4 world champions. 1 hall of famer.

                Antuofermo & Hamsho LOL

Do you truly believe you're right and everyone else is wrong or are you just posting for shock value again?
