Completely controlled entire fights with the jab, front foot, back foot, centre of the ring. Any where at any time he could control the distance with the jab.
And that was all down to some of the best timing I've ever lay my eyes on.

Hagler had a heavy jab and good reach for his height. Bob Foster was the first guy to cut ali. All my other suggestions have been named unless liston has not been mentioned

He sparred with Joe Louis often that would have been great to see that battle of jabs.
He also sparred with A young Sonny Liston. And rumour has it he gave him the business.
They were actually set to fight but the fight was cancelled. I think Sonny would have knocked him out early but I still would have been interested to see if Harold could do something against Sonny's jab, who for my money has one of the best jabs ever aswell as an insane reach. I think that one may have been a stretch too far.

Vlad Klitsko also has a very good jab.
Probably because the weapon gets more noticable for each increase in weight class, compensating slower activity.
Liston's jab was indeed a powerful punch, but as Angelo Dundee said, we seldom saw he throw a double-jab.
So look for a guy who can throw three-four jabs at the same time, when the fourth jab is as hard as the first one.
