I think Hagler would win a clear decision. Competitive, but Hagler was just better. Plus McCallum was better at 154 than he was at 160.

You are probably a kid who will want to bet some money on Tyson Fooey. I might have a spare billion or two to accomnmodate you with when the time comes.

A guy got me years ago when I pronounced Thames like thought. I waited. It was only a matter of time before one day he cried "Viola!" pronouncing it like the musical instrument.

Typos are worse than actual mistakes, because they show a poster not thoughtful or caring enough to proofread their own posts for ugly inconsistencies and help foreign speakers. That is, indolence is worse than ignorance, for the latter has an easy cure. I always know knee-jerk responses by the number of typos in them. I have stopped spelling midget wrong, but have you, sir, stopped making careless typos as you rush to foamy judgement?

Of course. Just watch James Toney get a gift decision over journeyman Dave Tiberi for evidence.

was not as bad as Marvin Hagler's gift win over Kevin Finnegan or his one point decision win over little old lightweight Roberto Duran... what was it Duran called over to Hagler as they awaited the decision, "You ain't NO Marvelous"

Hamsho cleaned out the division to get the Hagler shot and to get the rematch beat Benitez and an undefeated Bobby Czyz. Sibson destroyed Alan Minter and beat the number one contender to earn his shot. To this day it is common discussion among historians that Hamsho would have ruled in another era that did not have Hagler in it.
I like McCallum he was a respectable champion. I seen him live and met him. My respect for him does not drive me to attempt to tear down other champions to build him up however. Especially one considered by most recognizable historians as one of the best middleweights ever.
I think its you who needs to be serious Bear.. Fully Obel was a Class C fighter with a padded record, he had not fought anyone in the world Top 100. most of his opponents were clubfighters with more defeats than wins on their records. Mustafa Hamsho (cleaned out the division) beating who???

Alan Minter was "Robbed" of victory by the judges in his fight with Hamsho and Benitez was clearly on the slide. But it is not a case of justifying them as challengers, it's a case of would Hagler beat McCallum. - your opinion is Yes mine is No... a case can be made for yes and a case can be made for no..

Do i think Hagler beats James Toney & Roy Jones - No .. They both outpointed McCallum and both would defeat Hagler rather easier than they did McCallum.

Every fighter Hagler ever fought and defeated, McCallum could do the same. Could Hagler do the same with McCallum's opponents?

No person alive beats me on boxing knowledge my friend, i don't use boxrec or any other site to acquire any knowledge... you claim you want to take me on at TRIVIA.. well i will throw out the first question to you :

Question: - Which Heavyweight won the title with trainer Eddie Futch in his corner, then lost the title with Angelo Dundee in his corner.?

A very easy trivia question for you to answer, then you can serve me up your curveball question in an attempt to "wipe the floor with me" LOL
i remember seeing Berbick getting demolished by Tyson with angelo Dundee in his corner, and I remember seeing Futch in berbicks corner when he fought pinklon, I'm pretty sure that was for the title and since you have a hard on for Jamaican fighters that's probably the answer... Berbick.

It's going to be difficult to think of a question without you consulting your best buddies boxrec and Google but maybe you'd have to read an actual biography of the man to find this one out. Which hall of famer did Sam Langford beat aged just 17 years old reportedly?
