I never ever rated Mcgirt. (He could punch a bit doe)

Funny how you'll use wins against diminished fighters to prop up Whitaker.....
Lmao.....Ramirez was 29 and the WBC champion. Chavez was 31 and 87-0, and p4p number one when he fought Whitaker. Get out of here with your BS!!

I personally found pea boring, much like I did Wlad, but he could fight and was highly skilled. There is no doubt about that.
I pretty much agree with this. Pea was one of the best defensive boxers in history. Back then, I always knew he'd win and I also knew that the fight would be an eye-sore.

To bad his career ended in drugs.

No, but I think being a WBC champion at the time of said fight, and being p4p number one in the sport pretty much indicates that you're full of ****.

You're just talking out of your bum hole here. Sweet Pea wasn't a powerful fighter but good god could he box. I was so pissed that Ramirez got that decision. ……...Rockin'

I remember watching that fight live on network TV on a Saturday afternoon and couldn't believe the decision. One of the worst decisions ever.

I actually had Ramirez just winning.

The wiley old veteran new what he was doing and threw with
much better quality. Great for a fighter who was SOOOO past it.

I always thought whitaker could be to defensive at times.
                    I don't score spoiling.
