Good calls.... Especially toney and Trinidad... Both those fights left me so depressed and bummed... I was a huge toney fanboy back in the day.. That fight really hurts

I agree man. Smh. But lets not forget that Toney was very arrogant and lazy against Jones and didn't train properly and wasn't motivated for that fight. It's his own fought but on most days, Toney KO's Roy Jones without a question. And Trinidad didn't get up for Wright. He had gotten lazy and blew up in weight before that fight, too. He partied good after the Mayorga TKO. He was drained and dried up in the fight against Wright. Again, that wasn't Wright's fought but it is what it is.

As did I, Bat. How about Liston in his second fight with Ali. He stays down in the first round, waiting for the ref to count him out and then gets up when he sees he isn't there after 10-15 seconds. It was a good shot, but I can see why people still talk of a dive today.

I remember some comic at the time joking that Douglas was ordering a pizza before the first round in that fight haha.

Haye vs Wladimir is one I will never forget.

That's got to be the absolute worst performance.

Thinking about Douglas vs Holyfield which was also a horrible performance, but he had already reached the pinnacle and just made historic money on the basis of that. Completely demotivated and out of shape.

Haye talked for 3 years telling everyone what he was going to do to the Klitschkos, got in the ring and barely landed a couple of punches for 12 rounds and blamed it on his little toe. Shameful to think I was ever a fan of his.

Speaking of barely landed a punch, Audley Harrison's performance against Haye.

I have to go with Haye's "effort" agains Wladamir.

It really exposed Haye for how limited he was, he had one approach, and while he was good at that approach, when it didn't work he had nothing. Move around the ring, draw leads, throw the right hand.

Haye did show speed, agility, etc but his offence was pathetic, he didn't even try.

It wasn't that bad, he did what he usually does, he just didn't have that killer instinct and that extra half second of pace on his shots anymore.

Not talking about Ray leonard coming back vs Camacho, or roy jones vs calzaghe,,, but a great fighter close to his prime in a big fight, that he was horrible in...

Prince vs barrera

Prince wasn't close to his prime, still a very good fighter but not close to prime. His training simply consisted of trying to lose weight, while he had suffered hand injuries in several previous fights and not always looked that good, especially since his stellar 1997. 1998 was probabs Naz's last prime/close to prime year.

In terms of Mosley, what was his prime? PED use or no PED use?

Tyson v Holyfield comes to mind, he was still the most feared puncher in boxing and had looked devastating in almost every previous outing yet he could barely muster any major offense against Holyfield past the 3rd or 4th round.

Bradley v Pacquiao both times, exceptional world class fighter who maybe won 3 or 4 rounds and was out classed.

Mayweather v Corrales, again, Corrales may have had weight issues but no excuse for being stomped so badly by a smaller guy.

Hopkins v Tito, pretty self explanatory.
