    On a serious note, I think I'm going to purchase this on kindle. 25 is steep for kindle though lol. But you piqued my interest Scott, when you mentioned the book includes details about Walcott, Marciano,and Louis. Also the fact that Charles life out of the ring is a mystery to me.

      Its worth noting that nothing attracts the crazy, the capricious, the flamboyant, and the charismatic....like a quiet guy who kept to himself and was damn good at what he did! I guess it is the principle that nature abhores a vacuum.

        Gonna see if they have this at the library, read Robinson's biography and the tales are riveting to say the least if you appreciate the sport.



        Ezzard Charles is no doubt one of the best to ever lace them up. A true scientist.

          No, the price is now $14.75, which I consider fair. What I found very interesting was how the boxing business was run before the days of TV and PPV revenue.
