With modern day weigh ins, Ray could have made 135 for longer, and probably made 140 for a fair bit i reckon. He'd eventually fill out to welter though with his dimensions.
Imagine a young Sugar Ray today at 135 ? Would be fcuking unreal lol.

Great lunch, the Yankees win and then theres this dumbazz kid again;
jugsnutz.........Stamina was not the issue in the Maxim fight, you really need to listen when your on here you comment without reading posts. "Middleweight was 154 to 160"............NO! Middleweight has a "LIMIT" of 160lbs. Not inbetween 154 to 160, again if your below a limit you can fight in that division. Undertstand? I know you think a fighter has to weigh inbetween the weight class limits NO!
Thats one reason you keep harping on a 198lb man fighting a heavyweigt then you insist he's a cruierweight!!
Limits means the most you can weigh and any weight under the limit is ok!
JEEZ talk about being dense!
LaMotta wasn't HURT by lesser fights at that weight he was DONE, far past his best, out of prime time Get it!!!! It happens to EVERYONE!
(feel like I'l talking to a deaf person and I forget he's just dumb)!!!!!
You trying to discuss boxing on this forum is like me talking with a top surgeon staff on brain surgery.
Your over your head here junior, you talking about LaMotta or Robinson is a waste of time. Go read some bio's and try to learn something instead of doing quick searches on boxrec.

read up on the harlow experiments some time. Very sad really, the saddest and most unethical thing about it (unforgivable) was that ultimately th Monkeys were given a surogate mother which was a doll made of cloth (if memory serves correct).
In much the same vein we need to make you a poster you can get along with: By necessity this poster will be deaf and dumb and have an IQ of five...Leroy you around? the nice thing is you will never piss this poster off! and yu can talk to this poster all day while the adults carry on! we will call the poster... Twiggy!
