Its good to see a mod on this....I will hencefourth ignore lughead. I just have one thing to say: Maybe I can't find it? but I defy anyone to find this poster responding to any request for proof of assertion, or responding with any logical means when stating a point of view, or responding in any way than to rinse repeat and lather "you don't know what you are talking about."

If the website Boxrec was down and out of action for several months. The only Boxing information on the WWW was Boxing Scene.com..... Could you still debate Boxing History on this forum?.. Do you have the knowledge of boxing history to be able to comment without having to access other sources for your info.

I'll occasionally reference boxrec; but most of what I know comes from my own assessments based on film footage, and the assessments of experts in articles, and books.

Boxrec is handy for dates and such.

Boxing rec is new to me but I've started to use it recently. A lot of the match ups are mismatches so I check to see if the journeyman in this instance has a shot or could go over a certain amount of rounds.
I could debate but not as in depth as I could judges scorecards etc so it's a handy tool.

Boxrec is useful when I want to check the chronology/order of fights (I'm always forgetting whether such-and-such fought so-and-so before or after a.n.other). But I can't say that I go there often. Indeed, I can't remember the last time I did.

Generally speaking the limits of my boxing interest on the Internet are here, Youtube and .... [ahem!] ... charitable re-broadcasters of PPV events...
