Foreman always used the cross-armed defense. it worked for him and his trainer Archie Moore.. Foreman had one of the most underrated Jab's in Heavyweight history. No Heavyweight in history including Tyson, could cut-off the ring like Foreman.

Your Ruddock praise over Foreman is laughable, Ruddock never won a single round in his two fights against Tyson.
That has been proven to be factually incorrect.

BUT he was a ond handed, slow fighter with a tendency to be very good at pushing the action and fighting inside where his uppercut and hook worked well. Razor had no real footwork other than to keep coming foward and smother....

Lets not even compare him to foreman! What we know about Tyson is that he had a tough time against big guys...including Ruddock (in spots). If it took Mike a time of it to deal with BoneCrusher Smith (for example) it really leaves a question mark of how he would deal with Foreman...because unlike Crusher, Foreman had lots of weapons!!
Razor is a two handed fighter good jab powerful on target when he uses it ,left hook ,and right uppcut, thats called a two handed fighter ,whats more ignorant you trying to sell Foreman as a technical fighter???You even said Razor was slowyet managed to hit Tyson often and frequentl what all this ranting on your point i proved wrong with actual fights because anyone could see Razor had all the skills at one point much more than Foreman ever did, what weapons did Foreman have?Ajab and very poor boxing ,he had power ,he was decent for the first few rounds take away power in both Razor is clearly the more skilled no matter how many k.o reels of Foreman you watch.Tyson would k.o Foreman because he would Force a fight not grab and hold for dear life which is what Tyson let Smith do.If you had told me Foreman of the 90's vs Razor i would find that more realistic because his chin and overall punching improved though i would still disagree with you.You also compared a 86 Tyson and 91 all years outside his 87 /88 form and mentality ,Foreman of any year does not have the defense or fluidity to stop that Tyson .

Just watch his fight with Jackson ,and thats water down Ruddock hes only been in one bad fight he lost which he should have won that was Jaco from asthma attack, however you seem to call out everyone with lists and names who did Foreman beat up with that cross arm defense? Stewart who made him look like the elephant man , the same Stewart Tyson k.od in one round?Maybe Holyfield who mugged him for 11 rounds? How about Axel shultz who clearly out pointed him?

Who did Foreman beat up with that cross armed defense?

            Moorer
            Frazier twice
            Norton
            Chuvalo
            Lyle
            Cooney

Could Tyson beat the above fighters?

Then how come, allowing for the three points deducted, did Tyson not have 117 points on each card? And how come in their first fight Tyson had 59 points instead of 60 when the fight was stopped? This is factual, not an opinion.

He didn't manage to hit Tyson often...he had some spurts of success where he occasionally got to Tyson, which is impressive. Ruddocks hook could be avoided, his jab was not very good, especially not compared to Foremans. So a smart fighter like tony thompson (for example) by staying to RR left, avoiding a jab that is not really remarkable and not fighting inside would reduce RR because of RR's lack of a right hand.

if you think RR is as good as Foreman so be it... I don't have an opinion about Tyson versus Foreman, there are many scenerios that could play out imo.

Yea he did you are just talking what you rember now not what actually happeneds in the fight,to the point the announcers were in shock Tyson didn't fall with sopme of punches he was eating because you can here them bounce of his head ...it was aone sided yet entertaining fight of both guys landing monsterous punches ,you cant refute that because its on VIDEO FOOTAGE where Tyson had little footwork he basically just ate anything Ruddock thru at him.His jab was one of the best at one time just ask holmes or lewis.

Foreman got beat up with Moorer the defense style did nothing for him ,he won based on his chin. The other guys aren't even worth mentioning other than Lyle who also beat Foreman up.
