Holyfield the Dirtiest Fighter with one ear??

A number of Holyfields opponents including Foreman have said Evanders the dirtiest fighter they have ever fought...Mike Tyson when asked why he bit Evanders ear ..Stated Evander was constantly fouling him and referee Mills Lane (A Holyfield family friend ) was ignoring it and he became frustrated..

I would not exactly call Evander a dirty fighter, and far from the dirtiest fighter ever.

I have seen all of Evander's fights and many live and I am of the opinion that the fouls are not intentional such as his head, he is coming in to try to get maximum leverage on his shots.

And Tyson bit Holyfield because that was a way out of the fight because he was going to get stopped again and took the easy way out.

Yeah no, the headbutt & simultaneous low blow against Dokes was accidental too.

Tyson and Holyfield were both aggressive fighters ducking on the inside. Tyson started this by saying headbutts were the reason for biting Holyfield's ear off.
But I tend to think his frustration with Holyfield's skills, heart as well as punches were the reason just as much.

Whether you agree or not with this, calling a fighter dirty and biting his ear off presents a bit of irony.

I think Evander and Mike are equals in the department of dirty fighting. Mike used elbows and even he admits he would fight dirty. Evander used his head much to much but I think that its just because his style enables him to use It without looking intentional like tim bradley. I dont think Mike was trying to get out of the fight. I think he was so enraged about the head-butts that he didn't care what he had to do he just wanted to hurt him

Tell me which round and when I get home I will review it and tell you what I think.

Sandy Saddler is up there, no way he would of gotten away with any of the **** he used to do if he fought with todays refs / rules, same with a lot of boxers from back then really but he stands out atop the crowd I think.
For heavyweights Andrew Golota has gotta be right next to Holyfield and Tyson no ?.
