Holy ****, that was brutal. It was like the Foreman-Lyle of women's boxing. Also, in the last sequence the referee did a horrendous job of not stopping the fight when one of fighters was clearly out of it and tangled up on the ropes. He basically untangled and let her get further pummeled. I hope that woman didn't sustain any permanent damage

It was Holly Holm getting brutalized. She was p4p no. 1 at the time. Mathis just killed her there.

Holm later got revenge and continued her career in MMA despite having a lucrative fight against Cecilia Brækhus lined up.

I think she is heading back to boxing now.

When finally realizing, a lot of these amazons – with one hand tied behind their back – would beat the **** out of me, I just had to give in :boobies:

My favorite punch on the Ring list is Jelena Mrdjenovich knocking out Olivia Gerula in their rubber match for the WBC super feather title, leaving Gerula out cold for several minutes. Mrdjenovich had won on a 4th-round stoppage in their first meeting, while Gerula gained an unanimous decision in their second encounter.
(And yes, I do feel a bit perverted, recommending others to watch a vid when a human being has her brain blown into pieces.)
