What about Jack "Nonpareil" Dempsey?
What about Tommy Ryan?
What about Jack O'Brien?
What about McAuliffe and Barry?
What about Corbett and Sullivan?
Like Langford and Walcott, I am sure Gans was quite good. But he certainly wasn't the best. And better men's names have suffered, simply for the color of their skin.Comment

Why not just appreciate fighters for how good they are and the challenges they overcame, rather than which lunch counter they ate at or their inability to identify their real father?Comment
