For me it was the opposite, which is why I loved seeing Barrera kick Hamed's ass.

Yet he outlanded him and stopped him. Go figure. And Hamed and Chavez styles were far different. Naseem looked to use his speed and power from the outside while Chavez looked to bury his head in your chest and keep wailing away. Terrible comparison.

If you want to use a sparring session we can always talk about Greb whooping Dempsey and Jack fighting Harry's leftovers instead of the man himself. My apologies. Would "dominated" be a better description for you? And Barrera wasn't as good as Mayweather, not as fast nor strong.

And who said "training' destroyed him? He was 28 when he retired and looked absolutely unbelievable the fight before against Sanchez (a fight I was at). Convenient excuse. Against Calvo he didn't look to be half that fighter. His spirit was crushed by MAB. I say all this as a huge fan of Hamed.

What does his career earnings have to do with anything?
