Nelson fought him at lightweight and still gave him a reasonably tough fight it is a very good win but not a great one.

What Donaire did to Arce, Nishioka and Navarez cemented his resume.

Sorry, but those of us who have been posting here for awhile know that any opinion on Whitaker by you can't be taken seriously. Rating him behind Rafael Marquez and Chris Eubank is a total joke. I mean, I admit to hating Oscar De La Hoya, but I would certainly never rate him behind Steve Collins

Arce fight was a farce,,, that's about the same as oscar or Floyd vs gatti...

Nishioka and navarez are solid but just paper champs and nowhere near the caliber of fighter of donaire

Yeah, because Donaire beat Arce in his prime and at his best weight.

Are you drunk? Whitaker clowned him at times.

This is a joke right? Arce is 1000x more accomplished than Gatti

And I am not comparing the Donaire wins to Whitaker's win over Nelson

Arce was completely done at the top level when donaire fought him..

Honestly I don't think arce is that much better than gatti.. Both action fighters that won more based on good power and heart than by technical skills.. Both get blown out by top level guys

You know nothing about boxing if you think Gatti and Arce are even remotely close. Arce is far far far more accomplished.

Arce may have been a better fighter but using his fight with donaire to support the idea that nonito should be on the list is just wrong. It's a horrible example, and arce was clearly a shell of himself, up in weight, and not an ideal fight to judge one's greatness..

It's similar to manny beating Shane, or gatti-baldomir, etc... Just an aging fighter cashing out on his name..

Better example to support donaire would be the first Vic fight
