Well if Eddie Futch said so then it must be true! Williams' and Robinson's careers tell a different story.

I'm not denying he defeated a lot of good fighters but yet again you are blind to his defeats. Do you just pretend that they didn't happen? I'm being serious here, how do you square his defeats in with your claims about Williams? I'll tell you what Monzon didn't do, he didn't lose in his prime years and Hagler only officially lost once in what you could call his prime years and that was to an opponent who was pretty damn good indeed.
Monzon and Hagler also didn't test themselves beyond their optimum weight against great fighters.

Seriously, a fat Duran/Hearns and a midget Napoles may be your heroes best wins.

I think it justifiable to call a person ******ed when he among other things seriously believes that it's arguable that Steve Belloise resume is better than Holman Williams', who may very well have the best win column ever at middleweight.
I'm not clueless, I know a pretty good amount about the history of boxing and so do you and others. You don't seem to think that there are any reasonable judgements other than your own.

Williams' loss column is also very impressive! William's career has become elevated by the elevation of the rest of the murderers row. Now i actually do think Holman Williams was a greater fighter and middleweight than Steve Belloise but a lot of the judgement about Williams rests on how good these murderers row fighters really were and how much discredit you give for all the losses. In light of that it is not as obvious that Williams is as great as so many now seem to suggest.

You have convinced me, Hagler and Monzon were not great fighters!

It’s certainly more reasonable judgments than just my own, but yours are not one of them.

What a load of horse****. Williams is exactly as great as some suggest, even if you don’t want to concede it.

I suppose it helps you to think all this. Why then do my posts upset you so much If i'm clearly of such low intelligence and have such little knowledge? Do what Poet did when he could neither handle differing opinions nor take what he himself routinely dishes out and block me. Instead what you do is say that everything I say is nonsense, call me a '******' or a 'mong', and say that i'm the only person that doesn't deserve an opinion. In some weird way my arguments threaten you.

Hagler has better wins than Williams and he doesn't have all the losses. You know it is you that has avoided a question I have posed to you a few times, the question of how you square all the losses in Williams' prime years with your claim about his greatness?

Which wins though? Don't just give me a blanket statement here.
