Jones got KTFO by Tarver in the second fight. Tell me again how he didn't heavily rely on his speed and reflexes.

You said "He had no meaningful wins after his abilities slipped" which was when he cut all the weight back down for the 175 lb title fight, which he won.
I simply answered your statement because it was absurd.
If that's not "meaningful" then you really showed your ass with some sort of agenda, despite you "liking" Roy Jones.
Robinson, duran, hearns, floyd, hopkins, moore, charles, etc have all slipped, but were able to compete at a high level because they had good fundamental skill set, while roy relied on athletic ability and explosiveness.. Once he was no longer in his prime, he fell off a cliff
People always wanna claim that roy was affected by the weight loss for the tarver fight, but what about the other 8 fights he has lost by then, and not one of his losses were competitive,,,
But if you still think he is the #1 most skilled guy ever, then more power to you

Prime Jones is the best I've seen. That's like me taking points off of Robinson for losing to Tiger Jones and all of the other lesser guys he lost to despite his GOAT resume.

Ezzard Charles was drubbed all over the ring and knocked down 8 times in one fight. Let's not count that though.

Jones was 35/36 when he struggled with Tarver cutting almost 3 weight classes.
And he still won his title back, and hardly lost a round before that.

You're simplifying boxing way too much. I can tell you never put on a pair of gloves in your life in a real bout.

And you still haven't given any proof of Jones having great technical skills. Notice I said technical skills, not attributes. Speed and reflexes are attributes.
