Ha! Yes. I was expecting you or greeh to name Lule.

Hagler really went to the lions den against Minter. As I recall it, he had to swiftly be escorted out of the arena.

Agreed that it was clearly not a case of a fighter taking the title in the other guys hometown.

Regarding the scoring.... Well lets not go there. Daggum might come in here trolling hard.

The funny part is after he won, no taxi's or tuk-tuk drivers would give him a ride back to his hotel, the promoters saw to that.

This wasn't in ****kok or any big city like Phuket or Chiang Mai, he was way out in the sticks.

The fight was held on Buddhist temple grounds around 3 hours or so from ****kok.

He had to get a ride with some foreign reporters covering the fight.
        Great story! Awesome.

Nico Locche beat Fuji in Tokyo for the light-welter title.

Kessler beat Mundine in Sydney for the Super-mid title. Won every round on 1 judges score card.

Plenty of guys have beaten Zab Judah in New York cos he sucks.

Hahaha damn I don't know how that slipped passed me. Probably should pay more attention when writing these.
                Here are some more though
                Canelo Alvarez-Austin Trout
Margarito-Mosley was a sold out Mexican crowd at Staples Center and Mosley was a 4-1 underdog if that counts for anything.
                Maidana-Broner
                Erik Morales-Kevin Kelly

Canelo was the crowd favorite vs trout... It was not a pro trout crowd at all

The great Azumah Nelson again. Not just Gomez in PR, but he also whipped a prime and undefeated Fenech in Australia.

Kessler only defended his title in Oz. He didn't win it there.
