Tyson's a more aggressive fighter than lewis, so why is it that Ruddock withstood so much of Tyson's beatings, but Lewis was able to get him out of there in only 2 rounds?

How was Lewis able to KO ruddock in 2 rounds but it Tyson couldn't do it?

Because mike Tyson needed movement and explosiveness to really be a ko monster, and Tyson still had both but not quite like he did from 85-88.
Lennox is like a foreman, he has that true one hit power, that despite age or slowness, Lewis was always gonna hit hard...
IMO Lewis is one of the hardest hitting guys of all time,, he wrecked Bruno, ruddock, Morrison and many others with one big fight changing punch

Those two beatings Ruddock got from Tyson killed his punch resistance. Both were good competitive fights but Ruddock shipped a LOT of punishment in them and that can take a lot out of a fighter. A Ruddock that wasn't damaged goods still loses to Lewis though, he just lasts a good bit longer.

Ruddock has said that the 2 Tyson fights took a lot out of him. He thinks Mike wasn't the same afterwards either.

1: it was Lewis's best performance
2: Ruddock was foolish in that fight.
3: Tyson was past prime when he fought Razor.
