  • Most fragile chin in boxing history?

Who's a guy that just kept going out like a blinking light?

Also who had the least power in their punches at HW? (relatively famous boxer of course not some unknown)

Their are a lot of club fighter and journeymen with fragile chins that most people
may not know of,but two boxers I can think of are Michael Grant and Bruce Seldon(watch seldon vs bowe/tyson)

I don't think he has the most fragile chin in boxing history - that distinction probably belongs to some no-name - but Floyd Patterson, over the course of just 3 fights (1 Ingo, 2 Sonny) did pay multiple visits to the canvas. If he doesn't hold the record for most knockdows - at least in the HW division - he's gotta be within the top three.

Don't know about a HW or famous fighter but that Tim Coleman guy would get knocked out by a strong breeze.

I'm pretty sure Patterson holds the record for being dropped in heavyweight title fights.

Speaking of weak chinned heavyweights, Herbie Hide would probably be the worst that I've ever seen. Unless I see more of Seth Mitchell.

Clifford Etienne is among the worst that I have ever seen.

Chris Bryd had very little power as a heavyweight. I'll as also add Jaime Garza, Eddie Hopson, and Duane Bobick to the bad chin list.

Hide and Etienne are good choices. Seth Mitchell is definitely climbing the rankings. Audley Harrison, for my money, is worse than any of them. But it's always tough with heavyweights -- I want to give them the benefit of the doubt because they're facing guys who are inherently hard punchers.

As far as non-heavyweights go, Roger Mayweather had a laughably fragile jaw. He was a good defensive fighter who could counterpunch and pack a wallop with his right. That protected his chin pretty well. You just felt like he could go night-night from anything that landed clean.

Zuri Lawrence needs to be mentioned. I can't think of another heavyweight with as many fights and wins who had no knockout victories.

Also, great calls on the weak chins.
