It's said Floyd didn't take punches to the temples very well, that's why D'Amato had him developing the peek-a-boo style.

Be that as it may, Floyd earned credit for resiliancy. I'm not going to check, but it's possible he's never been counted out. He just kept getting up to have the ref stop the fight(s) by TKO.

it's almost surely somebody you've never heard of. there are guys in boxing who make a living getting knocked out by young fighters.

certain commissions in the midwest will allow a fighter to get licensed with a dozen knockout losses.

the worst chin on an "ATG" has got to be floyd patterson. he was very small for a HW, and was dropped and hurt often for a championship fighter.

patterson is a good call for ATG,, Hearns gets a bad wrap on his chin,, it was decent, he like lennox lewis just got caught with huge shots,, They didnt have alot of multi knockdown fights like floyd did

Seth mitchell or ronald hearns have to have the worst chins in recent years

What about Wlad? You guys often comment on how weak his chin is.

              Tommy Morrison, without a doubt.

His chin is not good but every fighter I mentioned had worse punch resistance.

Yes wlad is a good call,, nobody seems to be able to land on him in recent years, but i think he still has a fragile chin

tommy morrison had a decent chin,, I think he only got stopped 3 times, and he handled most punches pretty well,,

Him like hearns and lewis, get labeled as chinny guys because of the ko losses but if you look at his whole career in total, their chins arent as bad as they seem,, Yes they all had brutal stoppages, but that happens in boxing, they all took good shots pretty well for the vast majority of their careers...
They dont have oliver mccall type chins, but def not weak or made of glass type chins IMO

Floyd has described how he (often) felt after being knocked down. His brain played him pranks for several seconds, it was like being high on drugs, a good feeling of walking in wonderland.

In his 1st fight with Ingo, and after the 1st knockdown, he is heading for what he thinks is neutral corner while Ingo attacks him from behind. In his wooziness, Floyd was certain he had knocked Ingo down.
