You also fail to mention Evander was only in his second year as a pro. And please stop acting like Spinks boxed Qawi's ears off. He won a close UD in a less than thrilling fight. The way you try to spin things is amusing, but you've got the wrong guy. I've acct watched the fights. In fact I just watched Qawi-Spinks again today. Good try though!
    - -Physiology 101-

Qawi made Field who was still skinny then overwork hisself as happens in sports and life, hence dehydration...Duh!

That U can't see Spinks perfectly sizing up Qawi to pitch a masterclass speaks more to U limitations than Spinks.

That U can't see Qawi got chased out of LH by Mike to run for easier fare as a tubby jr hvy is on U too.

Dehydration happens in running too. Did runner A put runner B in the hospital because runner B became dehydrated during the race? Of course Qawi made the 11 fight novice work hard, but there are any number of reasons Holyfield was dehydrated. For example, he may have had to cut more write than usual, and still being a NOVICE in the pro ranks this effected him adversely. My point is, you were trying to make it sound as if Qawi was the direct and only cause of Holy going to the hospital. You tried to make it sound like he beat him into the hospital. We both know that just isn't true.

What is saw in the Spinks fight was a close fight, with the better man winning. Same as in the Holyfield fight, except Evander decided to slug and make it more exciting.

I guess Holyfield chased Qawi out of the cruiserweight after knocking him out in their second fight, right? Or maybe, if you chose to look at it realistically, Qawi left lightheavyweight because he was having trouble making weight. If you remember correctly they were still doing same day weigh ins at that point until later that year Eddie Mustapha Muhammad came in over the limit and Spinks refused to fight.

      It's all logic 101.

        - -Qawi beat him into the hospital, pre logic introductory.

Also the first time Field accused of PED use.

Did Moorer give him his "hard heart" to force him into retirement?

Was he dehydrated when the NY commish stripped him of his license?

        U 2nd grade dehydrated dropout?

There is absolutely nothing logical about the way you think. And Holyfield never failed a drug test, did he? Your convuluted thinking is starting to bore me. Same old BS with zero proof.

I am well aware of the circumstantial evidence. But the FACT is, he never failed a test. My point being here....that you using this to strengthen your argument holds no weight. Truth is, Holyfield-Spinks would have been a good competitive fight. That you make these fallacies up is tantamount to me saying because Vander beat Tyson and Tyson beT Spinks, that Holyfield wins this "fantasy" matchup.

                - -U boy Field weren't ready to face Tyson in 88 any more than Lewie.

U boys more in common with Berbick when he got Ali.

Point in fact Field could've taken a LH belt before moving to hvy but that was too hard. The inferior fighters congregated in the Jr division where squatty, tubby Qawi tossed a monkey wrench in works.

I'm still waiting on the prime masterclass performance by Toney and Field on a top prime fighter in their day.

                U bankrupt?

Lol, I'm just going to keep exposing your ******ity. You say Evander could have grabbed a LHW , yet forget that lightheavyweight at the amateur level is 178lbs. How exactly was he supposed to go backwards?

And whether or not ( way to deflect) he was ready for Tyson in 88 is IRRELEVANT....that's not what we're talking why, is it?

                    - -We'uns already knew U weren't the brightest, by now U dimwittery starting to define U tomfoolery.

Working back, Tyson is relevant because U keep dragging him out well past his prime while in the middle of a slowmo train wreck.

Field avg wt going into Qawi was 182 lbs, dipping we into the 170s, mid 180s being what Roy Jones fought at during his LH reign. Prob being Spinks the champ, so the team looks to a weaker link of tubby Qawi.

Still waiting on that that masterclass by field.

                    Yeah, right!

That is right. And Spinks-Qawi was not really a fight. Holyfield took on Qawi when Holyfield was only 11-0 and he never been 10 rounds before. To go the distance over 15 was amazing.
Qawi was a very dangerous fighter still.
