A tough and close fight, no doubt about it. Skillwise they were both great with the edge going to Michael Spinks.

I have a difficult time deciding the outcome on this one, but I will give the nod to Michael Spinks by close decision. I don't think Holyfield could stop him, and I don't think he was skilled enough to outbox him. Spinks was great in his prime. But then again, so was Holyfield.

spinks was a natural lighthw, and holyfield a natural cruiser, so holyfield would win.

Theres more to boxing than how heavy you are.

Spinks is one of my favorites, but Holy would cause him alot of trouble.

I think it's a close fight, but Holyfield would be busier and pull out a close decision. If it's the Holy that fought Qawi, it's real close becuase Holy wasn't totally developed at that point. Either way I'm afraid I would have to pick against my man Spinks.

holyfield is more at home at cruiserweight, and spinks would be putting on extra weight to fight at cruiser, so holyfield would have the true cruiserweight power to beat spinks.

well i think alot of you forget spinks was 6'2 himself, so it would'nt be hard to add those few extra pounds, plus spinks beat an undefeated larry holmes where as holyfield struggled with an older one
