IMO not even Roy's superlative and showy ring talent would fluster him. I can never remember MS getting rattled -- too workmanlike. Plus what kind of decides it for me is what Tarver revealed about Roy's chin, one tagged. I could see Spinks revealing this same thing, late. Yes, I know what Tyson did to Michael, but as we all know Spinks wasn't a true HW, and at that time Tyson was one of the most fearsome HW's ever. Nothing about that fight favored Spinks. Facing RJJ is an entirely different thing. My general scenario is: 1) Jones winning the early rounds with dancing and a few good shots, 2) Jones starting to tire and slow down a bit through the middle rounds, w/Spinks, on the other hand, getting stronger and starting to take rounds, and 3) Spinks wearing down Jones and getting him against the ropes more and more until ... "crack!" -- there goes that chin.
