Would you say Julian Jackson had a harder straight right than hearns p4p?

Why do guys like shavers, foreman, julian jackson, tyson, bowe, ruddock, etc etc so so many of the mega punchers avoid throwing the straight right? Its like they never-rarely throw it for some reason? Why?

Not every puncher is able to throw a truly straight right hand. Often it is the heavily muscled powerhouses like you mentioned. They get their power from the leverage that comes from an arc type delivery.

Everyone always talks about the best left hook but no one seems to talk about the best right straight!
In my opinion, Thomas Hearns had the greatest right cross in the history of the sport. At heavyweight, Earnie Shavers had the most crunching right cross, in my opinion.

It was pretty clear in the Tyson fight too.

Alexis Arguello both throwed it hard and straight as an arrow.

The right Marciano finished Walcott with is as good as it gets. It is not just the upper body, watch the shuffling of the feet to that precedes the punch to give maximum leverage.
The right that Hearns nailed Duran with is right up there also
