I would choose Dempsey because he used his speed going forward and slipping blows. He would follow up with deadly combinations with KO power. That's much more impressive than the stick, move, tap, run, approach

Ali had the best overall speed in his prime, he was quick on his feet and very agile, moved his head fast. just overall a very smooth elusive boxer.
Holmes, great hand speed, decent on his feet but not really elusive and agile.
Tyson, Fast all over but at a size disadvantage.
Patterson, fast all over as well but generally a LHW.
hate me for saying this but a prime Foreman, although clumsey, had some serious high velocity punches.
